What a year! I am ashamed to say that I allowed my work life to invade my personal life and that would be why I have not posted since February. However, this has all changed. I quit my job with hospice and am waiting on KDMC to contact me about a position in their ER. I will be working close to home even though I will work a flip flop schedule and when I clock out, I will be done! Hospice was an unforgettable experience for me however, a hospice nurse is on call all of the time and it is difficult to break away. Now on to getting ready for Christmas at the Miller house! Baby Jayce is so excited about Santa this year. We saw Santa in Wal-Mart shopping, Jayce ran up to him, Santa put Jayce on his lap and Jayce did not want Santa to put him down. It was precious! Hope all has a safe and happy holiday!

Well, the weekends just fly by when you are busy working, grocery shopping, and house work to get ready for the next week. I sure hope life slows down because I've been too busy to enjoy it. I am looking forward to our vacation in June! Lots of beach, pool, and banana daquiries. We are going to Perdido Key, Florida for seven days and it can not get here fast enough! It seems like you get into a rutt or I guess you would say a very demanding routine and you really have no sit down or "me" time. My job has gotten a little better. I actually stayed with the same company, SOuthern Care Hospice and am now a case manager. Only problem is all of my patients are dying really quick. I know they are supposed to die but man one dies almost everyday for the last week and I can't keep up. I do have a few that are not knocking on death's door but my patients are sick sick people who really need a kind, loving person to help them accept and live with a terminal illness. I do feel that I make a difference everyday in someone's life and this is a blessing. Well, it's bedtime so until next time....

Today was a great day! I had a job interview at Sta Home in Crystal Springs and then it was off to Terry for new family pics with Charlotte Stringer Photography! She is awesome! Jayce was everywhere! Here is a sneek peak!

I know it's been quite some time since I've blogged so I am gonna try and play catch up. Those with a young one know why it's taken me so long to be able to sit down at a computer:)

So Richie and I decided we wanted to go to a FSU game and so we scheduled some sitters, bought some tickets, and hit the road. We drove to Foley, AL and shopped Saturday morning then headed to Tallahessee, FL. It was a long drive but we had a blast and made it home safely. We missed Jayce Rylan terribly but this was the first weekend away from him! Needless to say the Noles lost by one score, we were livid!!!!

Things have been going really well with my new job and Richie's as well. We love having the weekends to ourselves and spending quality, family time together. We are currently planning Jayce Rylan's first vacation to Destin, Florida this summer and are super excited. We really wish Taylor could be joining us. We think about James Taylor daily and wish he were experiencing life with us. I wish you all could see the way Jayce Rylan lights up with smiles when James Taylor talks to him. God help us! On a lighter note, I have some super sweet photos to post!

Today is Taylor's first ballgame and his grandmother has him today. She called Richie this morning and told him that he could get him for the afternoon if he would like and that Taylor wants to see Rio. We picked Taylor up around 12:30pm and went sunshade shopping for him and Daddy and then to the movies. After the movie we went to Wal-Mart so Richie could get a haircut and then had Taylor back to his grandmother at 4:30pm so he could get a bath and get ready for his game at 7:00pm. Richie was told that Emily wants him to go through her mom to see Taylor which seems a little immature to me personally. I am just thankful that Taylor has his grandmother, Gary, Richie, Adam, and Mattie to love and take care of him and to teach him how to be an honest, productive citizen. We can't wait for the next time we get to see him! Taylor told me today that he was going to help teach Jayce Rylan how to play baseball one day!

Well, we got to see Taylor tonight. He did good at his buddy ball practice. I love seeing the glow in Richie's eyes when he gets to see Taylor. I just hope we get to continue to be there for him.
