Today we had newborn pictures done in Terry by Mrs. Charlotte Stringer. She was absolutely amazing! Jayce did so good. I am so proud of him. We got some really good shots! Here's a peep.

WooHoo! We got to come home. We were so excited when Dr. Moses said I didn't have to stay all 3 days because I was doing so well. I am so glad to be at home with my little man. I have a ton of fluid on me right now and am pretty sad about that but they did give me 5 liters in my IV in the hospital. My little man was so precious on his ride home!

OH WOW!! We have a beautiful little baby boy!!!!! He's 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long. The balloon did turn out to be very painful throughout the night but I was dilated to 4 cm by 10:30pm and did not require the cervidil. This morning I got my enema and shower around 5:00 and then had pitocin started around 7:00. The contractions were every two minutes and quite painful. Dr. Moses came in around 8:30 and broke my water and we had a slight problem. At some point Jayce Rylan had turned. He was breech. I went at 9:00 for a cesarean section. I was very nervous but the staff at River Oaks were awesome. Richie was by my side the entire way and everything turned out perfect. I was up walking that night. Everyone was astounded by how well I was doing!

Today is the day that we are going to the hospital. We have to leave at 1:30pm so we can make it to River Oaks by 3:00pm. I am super nervous but I know that God will take care of us. Next time I should have some pictures!!!!!

Times are getting hard. I can't sleep, can't each much at all at one time but yet I am always hungry and today was my last appointment before I go in next Wednesday for a balloon for manual dilation. I have not dilated any on my own and I am very nervous about this cervix balloon because I have been told that it is very painful. I guess I will be able to form my own opinion real soon. Pray for Richie and I that everything goes ok.

Tonight is my last night of work before we welcome baby Jayce into our lives and into this world. I am so glad that I get a break from that ER. I love what I do but goodness, it was time for a vacation!

Time is going by so quickly! Work is getting more and more difficult. There has been a little talk about me taking off maybe a week before I have Jayce because my body is just tired. I went for my 36.5 week checkup today. MRSA swab was negative. My blood pressure and weight are good. I am so excited about this being the last few weeks before I get to see and hold baby Jayce! Now I am going to the doctor every week and so time really is moving on along!
