Today my husband wanted to "do something with me" so he took me to the balloon glow in Jackson. It was packed with people!!! We met my neighbor there along with his girlfriend. Got there just in time to see Diamond Rio, they are awesome!!! We also got to see a pretty good fireworks show. Hope everyone has a Happy, Happy Fourth of July!!!! Fireworks! DIAMOND RIO!!!! Richie driving...sitting in line to leave the balloon glow. He was very irritated with the traffic. I still luvs you honey!!!
Today was a hot one at my house. I cleaned a bit and then watched much tv. I also got six big tomatoes off my tomato plants. They have been growing like weeds, I can't keep up with them so I have been giving a good bit to my neighbor Wes. While picking my tomatoes I came across a little tree frog that was precious. Here he is...
Everyone except me and Aunt Penny. Someone had to take the pictures!!
POKER TIME!!!
Richie made these shirts for us the morning of the reunion in about 5 minutes. Good job Love!!! NO one said that since we won that they were going to throw ice on us! Sore losers!! Hey, at least it felt good! So, as you can see We WON the Washer Tournament!!!! Yay! We hold the Miller Cup Trophy at our house until next year!
Washer Tournament time!
PawPaw Richard and all of his children!
Just to clarify, the "hot" tub was set on cool and was actually alot colder than the pool! But we weren't telling everyone that! :)
We had to take a dip. It was sooo hot!!!! Richie is sooo WHITE!!!
After the women got back from getting manicures and pedicures, we went and set by the pool. Right next to Aunt Pam and I were these two lizards. One larger one that was chasing a smaller one. Well, if you look at the picture you can tell why. I had no idea that they "did it" like this but it was quite entertaining. They satyed like this for over an hour. Poor little lizard!!!
This weekend is the Miller family reunion and I am pumped. I have always loved family gatherings I guess because I really haven't had many. This is Richie's side of the family but they are like my own now so I feel very comfortable. We are going to have some good ole' southern fun. Lots of swimming, grilling, and washer throwing. The guys always go play golf then visit with the family but we are changing it up some this year. The ladies are going for manicures and pedicures at the mall in McComb, they are opening early for all of us. So the women now have a "thing" to do other than keep the children or just cook. Also, I am making my famous banana pudding. I hope everyone will like it! The most exciting thing about this weekend is that Richie and I get to spend time with his dad and step mom! Maybe Monday I can post some pics of the weekend for everyone to see.
You see I really would like some flowers from my sweet and thoughtful husband but if history repeats itself then I will just have to be happy with this beautiful picture of a Calla Lily.
Oh what a weekend! We went to Mansfield, TX to play in a softball tournament which our team won 3rd place in D Class. Good job guys! It was the nicest place we have ever played and the guys loved the fields. It was a hot one though....heat index was 104 degrees. Can't wait until we get to go again next year maybe we can stay a bit longer than this time.
