OH WOW!! We have a beautiful little baby boy!!!!! He's 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long. The balloon did turn out to be very painful throughout the night but I was dilated to 4 cm by 10:30pm and did not require the cervidil. This morning I got my enema and shower around 5:00 and then had pitocin started around 7:00. The contractions were every two minutes and quite painful. Dr. Moses came in around 8:30 and broke my water and we had a slight problem. At some point Jayce Rylan had turned. He was breech. I went at 9:00 for a cesarean section. I was very nervous but the staff at River Oaks were awesome. Richie was by my side the entire way and everything turned out perfect. I was up walking that night. Everyone was astounded by how well I was doing!
